Located in the heart of Ertvelde, in the charming Meetjesland region, restaurant/B&B 'Visite' is housed in a former doctor’s residence that has been transformed into a warm and characterful place with a Mediterranean-style garden. Guests enjoy an honest, refined meal in a homely and მშვიდ setting, with attention to privacy and personal wishes. The cuisine is inspired by traditional French gastronomy with a contemporary twist, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The monthly menu is central and offers a culinary journey from amuse-bouche to dessert, each course paired with carefully selected wines, beers or mocktails. The menu is available on Friday lunch and dinner, Saturday dinner, Sunday lunch, Monday evening and Tuesday evening. On Saturday evening, a four-course menu is served; on Friday evening and Sunday lunch, guests can choose between three or four courses; on Monday evening, Tuesday evening and Friday lunch, guests may select one or more courses freely. The name Visite refers both to the warm feeling of visiting friends and to the building’s past, where today hospitality and experience take centre stage.
