PATAT opened on March 23, 2001. Founder Davy gained experience in frituur shops and restaurants in Beernem after graduating from the Ter Groene Poorte hospitality school. Since 2009, PATAT has been located at Kerkstraat 39 in Knesselare and has grown into a well-established name in the village. The business combines tradition with innovation, featuring its own creations such as artisanal burgers and loaded fries as specialties. Fresh satays and homemade preparations are made daily. The fries are delivered without preservatives, a conscious choice that helps maintain clean frying oil and ensures quality. Following a major renovation of the building in 2025 and a renewed interior in 2026, PATAT now offers a warm and contemporary setting. The business continues to focus on quality, innovation, and a strong customer experience.
